Raised in Boise, Brent Jensen studied in New York City with jazz legend Lee Konitz on a grant in 1987 from the Idaho Commission on the Arts. He was a featured winner of the Woodwinds on Fire international talent search conducted in 1996 by Jazziz magazine and has performed with a variety of jazz artists, including Gene Harris, Bobby Shew, Gary Foster, John Clayton, Joe LaBarbera, Wycliffe Gordon, Warren Vache, John Stowell, Bill Watrous, Jamie Findlay, Dave Peck, Dianne Schuur, Kristin Korb, Marc Seales, Doug Miller, John Bishop, Bill Anschell, Don Sickler and many others. Brent’s recordings have received significant national radio airplay and have been featured in all the major jazz periodicals.

Brent is joined by Jamie Findlay on guitar, Heather Chriscaden on bass, and Steve Tate on drums. All accomplished recording artists, educators, and touring musicians in their own right.

Minntah Haefker is a young, multi-lingual (Thai, German, English) vocalist who was raised in both Portland and Astoria, Oregon. She spent her early years studying piano with Mike Van Liew and voice instruction with Lisa Nelson at the Astoria Conservatory of Music.

A junior at Lincoln High School in Portland, Minntah was crowned champion in the Oregon School Activities Association state soprano competition. She currently studies voice with mezzo-soprano Angela Niederloh and often performs as a guest artist with Oregon Music Hall of Fame inductees, 3 Leg Torso.

In March of 2023, Minntah received a standing ovation at the State Capitol after performing a Puccini aria for the opening ceremony of the Oregon State Legislature, and she was most recently profiled in a full length radio interview by symphony conductor, Raúl Gomez on All Classical Portland Radio.
