The Catarina New Quartet

Catarina New is a seasoned musician who has performed at venues and festivals which include The House of Blues, B. B. King’s, La Ve Lee, Playboy Jazz-Fest in Los Angeles, Idyllwild Jazz Festival. She has performed in New York, New Orleans, and around the world — in Brazil, Tahiti, Hawaii, Germany, Scandinavia, and at the Pori Jazz Festival in Finland. Catarina’s accolades include being the winner of the Southern California Music Awards in the category Best Jazz Solo Artist. In Portland, Oregon, Catarina has since been awarded Jazz Musician of the Month by the magazine Oregon.
